On the second day of the workshop, the changes being made in Intermediate were discussed. Under the National Curriculum Framework (NCF)- 2023, everyone will have to study two languages in Intermediate. After this, they can take any four subjects. In that, they can take History with Mathematics, Economics of Physics, Commerce with Biology or Vocational Education. In this, six subjects will be compulsory. The seventh subject depends on the student’s wish, whether he takes it or not. Along with this, there will be many changes in the syllabus.

Chief guest of the workshop, former chairman of CBSE board Ashok Ganguly said that states should implement these according to their resources. They should also ensure that the curriculum taught also provides employment. Former CBSE examination controller Pavanesh Kumar said that the evaluation process will have to be changed.

He told that half of the questions should be competency based multiple choice, problem and source based. 20 percent should be constructed response multiple choice, fill in the blank, true false and matching based. 30 percent questions should be short answer and long answer. This will enable better evaluation of students. Till now this system has not been implemented in any state. UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh, Additional Secretary SK Singh, Additional Secretary Administration Sardar Singh, Dr. Ajit Singh, Deputy Secretary Devvrat Singh, Skand Shukla etc. were present in the workshop.
